bike rentals are $25 for a half day, $35 for a full day. (Helmets are provided.)
Culture, Gardens and Art
Cycle to craft studios and art galleries. Park
your bike and wander through lush island gardens. Visit the Nuyumbalees
Cultural Centre in Cape Mudge Village, where you’ll see magnificent carvings
and Potlach artifacts of the Kwakwaka’wakw (Kwakiutl) people. 4 hrs • $49
Vistas and Trails
A trip to the historic Cape Mudge lighthouse takes you
on a seaside path through the traditional Kwakwaka’wakw lands. Look for
petroglyphs on the open beaches along Discovery Passage. Then spin across
Quadra to Rebecca Spit Marine Park, where you can hike or bike the wooded
trails, and swim in the protected waters of Drew Harbour. 4 hrs • $49
Single Track Adventure
Not for those who hate mud on their colours!
This is West Coast Single Track at its finest, and we promise a down-and-dirty
challenge for both intermediate and advanced riders. 4 to 5 hrs • $69
